WET WEATHER UPDATE
Due to strong predictions that it will rain, the popular free Festival on Green is moving indoors to the St Ives Shopping Village and St Ives Community Hall this Sunday 3 May, 10am – 4pm.
Ku-ring-gai Council’s annual Festival on the Green is once again set to enliven St Ives Village Green with a fabulous, free day out for the community on Sunday 3 May.
A huge program of entertainment is planned for the day including a stage performance by stars of ABC4Kids and Cbeebies, Lah Lah’s Big Live Band, who will light up the stage with their musical instruments and bright costumes. Empress Stiltdance will also be heading to Festival on the Green all the way from New Zealand, bringing their stunning aerial show Kahuku – A Romance with a Butterfly to mesmerise the audience.
The festival will also showcase the talents of over 750 community performers including local school music groups, performing arts organisations and community groups as well as some great roaming performers.
There will be plenty of fun to keep the kids amused all day long with an animal farm, face painting, amusement rides, mini-train rides and the colourful Century 21 Circusworks tent where children can learn to hoola-hoop, walk on stilts and juggle.
All this and more at Festival on the Green 2015! For more information visit the website.
