What type of food did the Macarthur family and their convict servants eat? Discover the answer at Elizabeth Farm as you investigate our kitchen garden and churn butter in the colonial kitchen. Learn traditional skills as you prepare, cook and eat your own damper.
Follow the cook on a tour of the house to discover where the family ate, and the secrets of the butler’s pantry!
In addition to the holiday program, there are plenty of things for kids to do at Elizabeth Farm. Inside you can go everywhere and explore the house as if it were your own. Outside, there are colonial games such as quoits, hoop and stick, cup and ball, knuckles and croquet. And during the school holidays, enjoy a family-friendly house tour.
