Beautiful Featherdale

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is the best hands-on Aussie wildlife experience in Sydney – pat a koala, hand-feed wallabies and kangaroos, and meet penguins, Tasmanian Devils, pelicans, dingos, snakes and lizards, and incredible birds – many you’ve never seen before! Keeper talks are back too so you can learn more about penguins, pelicans and echidnas when you visit.

At Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park, you can leisurely stroll under our mature bush canopy (stroller hire is free too) along flat pathways, enjoying the birdsong of over 100 native birds as you get closer to Australia’s proudest home of wildlife. There’s nowhere else in Sydney where you can get face-to-face with cassowaries, pelicans, koalas, wallabies, penguins and so many more amazing animals. A Sydney icon - Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park has been committed to the care of Australian wildlife for 50 years, and we look forward to school holidays and the opportunity to inspire and engage more little Aussies to share our passion for wildlife.

Encounter Feeding Experience

It’s not every day that you get to have breakfast with a koala or have a private cuddle with a baby Joey, an authentic billy tea or feed a wallaby. Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park not only houses the biggest collection of Australian native animals in the world but it also offers unique special experiences that the whole family will remember forever - the chance to get a private and intimate meeting with the animals.

This month is the last month of the Crocodile Encounter feeding experience with Crocodiles until Spring. Why? Well crocodile's fast during autumn and winter months. So, book in for this now while you can!

Penguins: 10am & 3.30pm
Koala Kindy: 10.30am & 11am
