Bush School Campfire (2.5-5yrs) 
Want to see what Bush School is about? Come to our special Bush School Campfire session and check it out! Are you ready to dive into the wonderful world of mud? Be prepared to get your hands dirty for the special one off bush school taster all about mud! Stomp, squish, mould and mix as we create our very own mud play area. This session will allow your child to explore their imagination through a variety of sensory activities that will be sure to put a smile on their face.

Chemical Concoctions - Fizzics Activity (7yrs+)
Learn how to make elephants’ toothpaste, milk rainbows, gooey slime, fizzy potions, giant bubbles and more! Participate in a professional chemical science show and make slime to take home.

Natural Disasters - Fizzics Activity (8-14yrs)
Explore the science of survival as we look at disasters from a human and natural perspective, and investigate some of the skills that you might need to survive one! Make generators and water filters and learn tricks of communication and codes in times of crisis.

Lego Robotics 1 - Fizzics Activity (8-14yrs)
Learn how to program our brand new Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots to do your bidding. In this exciting program you will discover how to teach a robot to do what you wish using motors, sensors and more! These robots use different software to the Lego Mindstorms NXT robots used in previous holiday programs.

Lego Robotics 2 - Fizzics Activity (8-14yrs)
Put your EV3 skills to the test as we delve deeper into the programing that can make these robots do your bidding! This course is open-ended and challenge based; the skill of the attendees determines the types of problems given to the kids. This workshop is ideal for those children who have already attended Lego Robotics 1 and can now use a Lego robot's basic functions with ease.

Maker Mayhem - Fizzics Activity (7yrs+)
We’re going to get our build on! Using a range of materials including Lego Technics, students will learn all about how things move and investigate mechanical systems like gears and pulleys. We’ll then explore how science and engineering can be used to make art as we build Scribblebots to take home, playing with different designs to create awesome patterns.

Use the Force(s) - Fizzics Activity (5yrs+)
When we understand forces, we can do awesome things. Students will take a look at Newton’s Laws and really understand how they work and how we can use them to do some great experiments. We’ll learn the secrets behind experiments like jumping beads and the amazing tablecloth pull!

Gross and Gory Science - Fizzics Activity (5yrs+)
Ewwww, gross! Explore all things creepy and gooey in the name of studying the human body. Make fake snot, vile vomit bombs, exploding pimples, fake wounds and more. Not for the faint hearted...but so much fun! Wear old clothes in this one!

Extreme Engineering - Fizzics Activity (6yrs+)
Kids will put their imagination to the test constructing all sorts of contraptions. We'll be exploring the world of engineering through a series of activities designed to make you creatively think around design challenges. We’ll investigate how civil engineers use different shapes to design and build structures like towers and bridges to give them as much strength as possible. We’ll also look at the jobs of structural engineers in designing protective equipment and boats capable of handling huge loads!

CP Bush Rangers (5-13yrs)
The greatest alternative to screen time! Led by our experienced team of Bush Rangers, children will enjoy a day of wildlife, bushcrafts, outdoor challenges, games and free play all in the great outdoors of the park. Activities are designed to allow children to play outside and to take part in problem solving and cooperative challenges. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Kids vs Wild (5-12yrs)
Firecraft is one of the first priorities of survival. Learn the art of lighting a fire from a spark without using a lighter or matches. Collect tinder and kindling bundles and then use a fire steel and friction to create a spark to get the fire started.

Kids Big Fish (8-15yrs)
Want to gain valuable hands on fishing skills? In this family activity coached by Tony “The Fish Whisperer”, you can try to beat Tony’s world record catch that was caught in the Park!
Where:   Start of Busby Pond as you enter Dickens Dr on the right-hand side; look for the tall pillar & statue

Centennial Parklands’ Sports Camp (6-13yrs)
Our Multi-Sport Camp will give children the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports, including athletics track and field activities, utilise the Parklands fantastic sporting facilities and most importantly keep active and have fun!
Where:   Registration is at ES Marks Athletics Field, entrance via Boronia Street
When:    Tuesday 11 – Thursday 13 July 2017; 9am-4pm, 8am optional drop-off. Registration 8.45am
Cost:      $180 for 3 days

Winter Spotlight Prowls - Family Activity (5yrs +)
The Park is home to a variety of nocturnal creatures, from Brush-tailed Possums, Microbats and Tawny Frogmouths to one of Sydney’s largest colonies of Grey-headed Flying-fox. Join a Parklands Ranger for a fascinating and surprising spotlight walk to see how the park transforms when the sun goes down. (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Where:   Meet at Robertson Road Gates, Centennial Park
