The festive season has begun with the lighting up of Sydney’s only ribbon cone Christmas tree at King Street Wharf. From 11 November 2015 kids and adults alike can admire the 1.8 meter interactive star atop the tree that dazzles you with a light show when you press its button. Dance your way into the festive spirit by listening to live music by the tree every Thursday to Saturday between 8pm – 10pm until Christmas.
This year’s magical tree and festivities is also about generosity, with families having the opportunity to donate to the Starlight Foundation, an organisation that grants once-in-a-lifetime wishes to sick kids, teenagers and their families. This is a chance to make your Christmas more special by helping Starlight grant one of their 550 wishes to sick kids!
Be sure to dine at one of the excellent venues at King Street Wharf whilst you enjoy the live music, and look out for people in purple shirts- they’re volunteers collecting donations for Starlight from 7pm-10pm.
DATE: From 11 November – 25 December, 8pm – 10pm
VENUE: King Street Wharf
