Waverley Council invites Dads and kids 0-5, carers and male mentors to a special, free Saturday story time session on April 18.

This month the group will explore numbers and counting through themed stories, songs and movement. With special guest facilitator, Chris from Einsteinz Music.

Dads, granddads, uncles, big brothers and mates are especially encouraged to attend. (Mums, grandmothers, aunts, big sisters welcome too.) The Dads Read free, fun continues every 3rd Saturday of the month at 10am.

Dads Read is an early literary initiative which recognises that fathers (and other male role models) reading to children strengthens literacy, models positive reading behavior and builds children’s self-esteem around reading (especially for boys).
