Hurray – The annual Festival of the Winds is on again!
Bring your whale kite, your turtle, flower, dragon kite, your box kite, delta kite or whatever you would like to send up high in the sky, take your little aeronautical pioneer and make your way down to Bondi Beach for The Festival of the Winds and and make the skies come alive over Sydney’s most famous beach.
Make sure you don’t miss Sydney’s most colourful Spring festival – the kite flying festival which promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
Australian and international kite flyers will show us their great flying skills and wonderful hand-made creations. Why not join in and fly your own kite on the beach or make your own wonderful creation at one of the kite making workshops on offer throughout the day!
Food stalls from all over the world, children’s rides, workshops, demonstrations, roaming entertainment, puppet shows, art exhibitions in the Bondi Pavilion Gallery, a full day’s entertainment program and all sorts of activities make the Festival of the Winds one of Sydney’s most loved and lively annual events.
There’s so much to do and see at this year’s Festival of the Winds, so if you’re up for a great day out, then the only place to be on Sunday 13 September is down at Bondi Beach for Sydney’s most visually exciting, fun-filled, family-friendly festival.
WHEN: Sunday 13 September, 2015, 11am-4pm
