Spend a night with the animals at the Australian Museum and see them come to life at Dinosnore! From 26 February to 27 February, kids and parents will get a once in a lifetime chance to sleep with dinosaurs, explore the museum at night and learn the hidden secrets and wonders of the animal kingdom.
Come over with your blankets, air mattress (the museum provides air pumps) and pajamas at 6:30 pm and set up your camp at Wild Planet, their newest exhibit which is completely open for you to explore! Friendly guides will have a trove of fun activities to engage your little explorer: hold, look or pat a blue tongue lizard and bearded dragon, go on a torchlight tour (bring your own torchlight!) through three galleries and hunt for treasure and then slip into your pajamas and watch a movie at the museum theatre! Dinner is served at 7:30 pm and breakfast at 6:00 am and there’s plenty of coffee for parents to enjoy. If you’re driving, park at the Domain car park and get your ticket validated by the staff so that you get a discounted parking rate.
