Just wondering how other parents feel about theatres reserving the front row for children with vision impairment or other disabilities that may require them to be close to fully appreciate the concert/performance? My grandson is vision impaired with vision only to 2m. I recently contacted a theatre to see if we could reserve front row seats for a concert but was advised advance bookings and reservations are not facilitated. It would appear that although there is equality in that everyone can access the venue there is not necessarily equity in ensuring that all children are able to enjoy the performance at the same level. What do others think?
