The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney opens the leafy doors of nature and play to young children and their carers with Dandy Lions, every Thursday during Term 1.

Indulge in a delightful morning of gardening, craft, singing and play as you explore a new garden-related theme each week with specially designed activities for children under the age of five. Go on garden discovery walks, participate in interactive storytelling, and learn about nature through art and craft.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and babies are welcome to participate for FREE. You are entitled to $2 coffees at the Botanic Gardens Cafe on the day you visit Dandy Lions.

Age: Children up to 5 years and their parents or carers
When: Thursdays during school term time from 4 February to 7 April 2016, 10.30 am – 12.00 noon
Cost: $18 per child, babies and adults FREE
Where: Lawn next to Victoria Gate Lodge, Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney. Enter through Victoria Gate from Mrs Macquaries Road.
