Kick off Christmas in Sydney with the FREE childrens concert and lighting of the tree in Martin Place on 26 November 2016.

Head to Martin Place in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, and see the interactive Christmas tree lit by Santa and the Lord Mayor. Hosted by Sunrise‘s Samantha Armytage and Seven News anchor Mark Ferguson, the concert is packed with entertainment the whole family will love. Hot Potato Band will provide pre-show entertainment from 5.45pm. Performers will include Justine Clarke and Moorambambilla Voices and many more. See Santa arrive on his cycle-drawn sleigh. The night finishes with a spectacular fireworks display to mark the start of the festive season.

The MLC Centre food court and GPO Grand restaurants, bars and GPO dessert bar will be open for the duration of the concert, offering a variety of food and drink options.

Santa stockings jam-packed with goodies will be on sale for $5 with all proceeds going to our charity partner, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. And one lucky child will get the chance to light the Martin Place Christmas tree on Saturday 26 November. For your chance to be that lucky one, make sure you enter the colouring in competition!
