Visit Centennial Parklands to enjoy the Giant Waterslide on Australia Day!
Inspired by memories of our childhood, Slidestreet takes the very Australian backyard summer tradition of a few sheets of plastic, detergent and a hose to the next level. Slidestreet is a 315 metre pop up inflatable slip’n’slide, as long as two AFL ovals back to back and offers adrenalin-pumping slip-sliding fun.
- The giant pop-up slide will run along Parkes Drive in Centennial Park
- The Family Friendly session runs between 9am to 12pm
- Visit the Slidestreet website for all relevant information
- Ticket prices depends on session booked. Buy tickets online so you don’t miss out
- Read further information on getting to the Parklands
There are a few conditions around the age and eligibility of participants, so make sure you read up to avoid disappointment.
Notes for Kids under 12yrs
As Slidestreet is a brand new event, the organisers want to ensure it is as safe as possible for all patrons.
To comply with OH&S obligations and to align with industry standards for these types of recreational events, we need to ensure that there is one parent or guardian with a valid ticket for a maximum of two children under 12.
One parent can accompany 3 children, but only if one of them is 12 and over.
All sliders must be 1.2m or taller to ride the slide.
The organisers want to provide a very safe and very fun environment for all who attend Slidestreet. The organisers care about your little squidlets as much as you do and they want to see lots of smiles (and no tears) on their faces!
