Christmas shopping in the city promises to be full of festive cheer. Carols provide the perfect accompaniment for evening shoppers, and you’ll find everything on your Christmas shopping list in Sydney’s unique shops, boutiques, arcades and department stores. Shop windows will be decorated with contemporary, traditional or reimagined Christmas themes. And you can snap your favourite window and tag it #SydXmasWindow for a chance to win a $2000 shopping voucher.

But the fun doesn’t stop in the city. Pop along to a free village Christmas Concert from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Rushcutters Bay (Saturday 3 December), Rosebery (Sunday 4 December), Alexandria (Saturday 10 December) or Surry Hills (Sunday 11 December). Santa will make a special appearance at every concert. Guide Dogs NSW/ACT is the official charity partner of Sydney Christmas. You can help give the gift of a Guide Dog by making a life-changing donation at any of the concerts, guidedogs.com.au or by calling 1800 GUIDE DOGS.

There are so many reasons to visit the city and the villages this Christmas – join for summer in the city.
