Experience a taste of the country as Sydney Living Museums celebrates the return of its Autumn Harvest Festival at Rouse Hill House and Farm on Sunday 29 May, featuring artisan food markets, talks, guided tours, and hands-on workshops just for kids.
Explore the rustic 19th century setting of Rouse Hill House and Farm as you browse, sample and shop from a hand-picked selection of products from greater Sydney’s finest artisan producers.
Kids can enjoy fun hands-on workshops including pickling with Jaimee Edwards from Cornersmith and yogurt making with cheesemaker Kristen Allan, as well as meet the Rouse Hill House and Farm farmer Lawrence and help feed our hungry herd of cows.
Take a peek inside the historic Rouse Hill House with its rich interiors and collection of treasures and explore the property’s fascinating outbuildings including dairy, piggery and old stables. Bring your own picnic rug and enjoy the picturesque setting with a tasty bite from one of our ready-to-eat food vendors, including gourmet grilled sandwiches from Bird & Baxter and Devonshire Tea from the Elizabeth Farm Tearooms.
