With so much going on, Australia Day is all about doing whatever floats your boat! If that happens to be enjoying boats, then the Harbour Parade is for you.

All set to make waves, the event will celebrate some of Sydney’s most iconic vessels parading around the harbour in a dazzling display of national spirit.

Want to get in the fun? Vessels of all shapes and sizes are welcome to join the flotilla and encouraged to deck out their decks with colour and flags.

If you’re planning to participate, pre-registering before 22 January will put you in the running to win a share of $2,000 cash prizes for the Best Dressed Vessel in an award ceremony at the end of the parade route in Athol Bay.

The Parade will marshal west of Blues Point in Berrys Bay at midday (using VHF 15 as the marshalling channel), departing at 12.30pm to make a loop of the harbour, and finishing at Athol Bay at 2pm for the awards ceremony.
