It’s all happening in Ashfield! Don’t miss out on Carnival of Cultures, Ashfield Council’s most anticipated event, to be held on Sunday March 22 in Ashfield Park.
Attracting over 18,000 visitors, the event coincides with Harmony Day weekend and celebrates the diverse range of cultures that make up the Ashfield Local Government Area.
The day will be action-packed with non-stop musical, dance and cultural entertainment, across two stages, starting at 10am.
It’s the perfect day out for the kids with free activities including a jumping castle, pony rides, face painting and a giant slide. Also on offer is a big chess board, table tennis, roving performers and a dedicated art-space. Plus there will be a free tree giveaway for residents.
Come hungry as you can choose from a delicious selection of international food and market stalls.
There will be free shuttle buses running from Ashfield Civic Centre or take advantage of the bike valet parking (and you could even win a prize by doing so).
