These spring school holidays, bring the kids to Elizabeth Farm and Vaucluse House to see artisans demonstrations and get creative with drop-in kids activities.
Head to Elizabeth Farm to watch blacksmith demonstrations by Levi Pendlebury and hear about the history of blacksmithing and its relevance today. Get creative with a paper craft activity inspired by blacksmithing, bring a picnic to enjoy in the gorgeous gardens, and don’t forget explore the house – one of Australia’s oldest surviving homesteads!

Visit Vaucluse House to enjoy demonstrations by fibre artist Catriona Pollard as she weaves creations using natural and found materials. Contribute to a giant garden loom artwork and create a mini loom at our drop-in activity stations. Explore the beautiful historic house and gardens, pack a picnic to sprawl out on the lawn or enjoy a café lunch at The Estate.
