Make sure you visit the Australian Museum in Sydney’s CBD this April school holidays for craft, egg hunts, dinosaurs and much more great activities and exhibitions.

School Holiday Craft (3-12yrs)
Birds use a wide range of materials to make a nest, from twigs, grass, animal hair, spider web and even plastic or tennis ball fluff! Join us these April school holidays to make your very own birds nest using a variety of recycled materials to either take home or populate our enchanted forest.
Where:   Nature Space, Level 2, Australian Museum
When:    8-23 April 2017; 11am-3pm - Please note: craft activity will not run over Easter Long weekend Friday 14 -Monday 17 April, 2017.
Cost:       $5/child

Australian Museum Egg Hunt
Experience an egg hunt with a difference. Equipped with a trail map and sense of adventure, children search for Australian animals and their eggs in the Museum galleries. Children will discover that chickens aren’t the only ones: many types of animals lay eggs such as frogs, snakes, insects, even dinosaurs!
Where:      Australian Museum, Ground Floor, Atrium
When:        Saturday 15 & Sunday 16 April 2017; 10am-2pm. Start times every 30 mins.
Cost:           $13 Members child or limited early-bird price; $15 Non-Member child

Dinosaur Exhibition
The Australian Museum’s popular Dinosaurs exhibition is famous for having 10 complete dinosaur skeletons and eight-life-sized models, it also features high-tech interactive displays that encourage you to look, listen and learn about these fascinating creatures who ruled the world until 65 million years ago.
Where:   Level 2, Australian Museum
When:    Ongoing; Monday – Sunday; 9.30-5pm
Cost:       FREE for kids under 16yrs

Fancy Feature Disco
Come and shake your tail feathers at this silent disco designed especially for kids and their parents to enjoy together. Participants wear a wireless headset and choose between 3 different channels of music from resident DJ’s. Everyone dances in complete silence… until someone starts singing along! Let your creative streak literally shine by creating feathery decorations and body art that glows under UV backlights!
