Kids can learn about convicts at Hyde Park Barracks, make damper & butter at Vaucluse House, Meroogal and Elizabeth Farm or play at being a bushranger at Justice & Police Museum.

Convict Escapades (6-12yrs):
Get ready to choose your own adventure, working your way through the convict system to earn your prized ‘Ticket of Leave’. An immersive theatre experience.

Sand in the City (3-15yrs):
Dive into the sun, fun and adventure of Sydney’s iconic coastline. It’s is all about creativity, fun and imaginative play; and with 1.8 tonnes of sand, a giant digital sandbox and over 300,000 LEGO® bricks, there is no better way to plunge into the life and play of Sydney’s shimmering seaside.

Egg-cellent Easter Trail Vaucluse House, Elizabeth Farm & Meroogal (5yrs+):

Bushrangers Behind Bars (7yrs+):
Step into the shoes of a notorious bushranger or put on a barrister’s wig to test your powers of persuasion. See first-hand how a 19th century magistrates court put Sydney’s infamous criminals behind bars.

Kids in the Kitchen: Damper & Butter at Elizabeth Farm (5-12yrs):

Visit the colonial kitchen where you’ll bake damper, churn butter, make your own lemonade and play some games.

Earn Your Tucker (5yrs+):

The sun is up and it’s time to have fun and muck in to get the chores done. Help feed the chickens, collect the eggs, sort the grain, carry the milk and make the butter. Then sit down to your well-earned tucker!

Bush Tucker (6yrs+):
Explore the bush tucker plants with Aboriginal guides from Muru Mittigar. Learn about traditional bush foods and make a traditional ‘Johnny cake’. This is a fun and engaging activity for all the family.

Baby Farm Animals (6yrs+):
Meet the baby animals. Pet the lambs, a piglet and baby chicks, then wander around the farm to see the new calves, sheep, horses and free-range chickens. Bookings essential.
