April School Holiday Activities at Museum of Contemporary Art

This April school holidays, join MCA for Friends of the River, a welcoming family adventure through 23rd Biennale of Sydney: rīvus and into a creative making session. 

Get started with a tour through the gallery, pausing at artworks along the way to dive into artists' ideas of rivers, wetlands, and their ecosystems. Next, head to the makers' studio for a creative making session with an MCA Artist Educator. Everyone will be invited to experiment and play with watercolour paints to visually describe a body of water special to you.

Each session is 2 hours. Participants will be supported by MCA Artist Educators throughout the session. The content of this program is recommended for school-aged children 5-12 and may not be appropriate for younger children.

All children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout their visit. Siblings 4yrs and under are free.

They also have a Sensory-friendly session: Friday 22 April, 10.30am – 12.30pm

When:   21 - 23 April 2022; 10.30am - 12.30pm OR 2.00 - 4.00pm
Cost:     $27 Child; $15 Adult. MCA Members Child $22; Adult $10.
