Adventure Day at Sydney Park Launches Rides Festival

Collect three Sydney Rides stamps to enter the draw to win a new bike. Pick up a map at the event or download and print it now ready for the day. Ride or walk to explore all corners of the park. You’ll find the following activities:
Sydney Rides markets: Browse the stalls for bike goodies, hire an e-bike, get a free tune up and find out about upcoming Sydney Rides festival events.
BMX arena: Jaw dropping action from the Big Air School team. Arrive in time for one of the displays at 9am, 11am or 1pm, each followed by a 45-minute workshop for the kids.
Rock climbing wall: Can you reach the top? Scale a new challenge at the rock climbing wall.
Mountain board slope: No snow, no worries. Make the most of this unique opportunity to carve the grassy slopes on a mountain board.
Parkour: Jump, vault, climb and roll with Jump Squad HQ. A great activity for kids and kids at heart. Join a free workshop at 9.15am, 10.30am, 11.45am and 1pm.
Balance bike zone: Join experienced instructors and learn the best techniques to teach your child to ride at free balance-bike clinics between 10am and 2pm.
Cyclocross track: Watch riders tackle the twists, turns and obstacles on the main hill.
Food truck feast: Sydney’s fabulous food trucks have your tastebuds covered. Park yourself on one of the picnic rugs or lay back on a deck chair.
Yoga in the Park: Cleanse your body and soul with a yoga sessions designed with bike riders in mind. Join a 7.30am or 10.30am class. Mats are available for the first 20 participants, otherwise BYO mat.
CityFarm field: Graze on the edible garden, take part in a planta-pot workshop or learn about our native animals from the Taronga zoomobile.
Walking tours: Learn about ecology and history of the area. Tours begin at 9am, 11am and 1pm, at the CityFarm marquee.
Bike powered juice lounge: Blend your own bike powered smoothie, pick up an ice-cream or grab a coffee before taking some time-out by the water.
