Learn gymnastics in a warm and friendly environment at Macquarie University in Ryde.

Gymnastics provides lessons to children looking to learn gymnastics in a warm and friendly environment that enables growth and personal development. Classes are offered for every age and ability level - from PlayGym classes for 18mths right up to adult gymnastics classes and everything in between.

Kinder-Gym Program (18mths-3yrs): Kids are able to develop many essential physical attributes such as gross motor functions, fine motor functions, balance, strength, coordination and flexibility. Classes involve songs and games to make your child comfortable in the water and as they progress through levels they will be introduced to safety skills and develop water confidence.

Recreational Gymnastics (age open): Classes run for school-aged children every day. Develop strength, flexibility, co-ordination, spatial awareness and balance along with a specific set of skills for each level. Children develop these skills through fun, fitness, gymnastics fundamentals and a friendship philosophy with special emphasis placed on safety.

Competitive Program (age open): Macquarie University gymnastics offers both development programs for men’s and women’s gymnastics as well as levels 1-5 in competitive WAG. Due to the specific nature of these program, these class is by invitation only.

Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s next birthday at Macquarie University Gymnastics Club! With full access to the Gymnastics Hall, private party room and your choice of food from Crunch Events & Catering, this will be a birthday party to remember.

Birthday parties are held from 1pm to 3pm and 3.30pm to 5.30pm Sundays. Activities include party games, teaching gymnastics skills, circuits, free play time in the Gymnastics Hall, and of course, refreshments and cake time!
