The recreational programs at Castle Hill Gymnastics are designed to suit anyone who wants to experience the excitement of a high-performance gymnastics centre at a pace that suits them. It’s all about having fun and accessing highly qualified gymnastics coaches to learn the skills you’ve always wanted to do. From handstands and forward rolls to flips and somersaults, they cater to all age and fitness levels.


KinderGym is a 55-minute movement program designed to develop your child socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically in a safe and structured environment. Once your child reaches the age of 4, they are able to partake in KinderGym classes without parent assistance, this encourages independent learning.

When:    Classes are run Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 12.10pm
Age:       18 months – 5 years

Beginners Gymnastics:

Beginners Recreational Gymnastics Classes are 1 hour, once a week. This program is excellent to develop strength, flexibility, co-ordination and have plenty of fun. This serves to prepare a child’s body for any future sport as well as further gymnastics.

When:    Tuesdays, 4-5pm, 5-6pm or 6-7pm, Thursdays 4-5pm, 5-6pm or 6-7pm, or Saturdays 8-9am, 9-10am, 10-11am or 11-12pm
Age:       School aged children from the age of 5 years to 11 years of age.

Teens Gymnastics:

The teens session offers the perfect opportunity for teens to build their gymnastics skills from a basic round off through to more advanced tumbling skills. This program provides the perfect balance of fitness training and fun.

Teens Gymnastics sessions are run for 90 minutes which include a component of gymnastics, fitness, games and free time.

When:    Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 9.00pm
Age:       12 – 17 years of age

Adult Gymnastics:

Adults program offer two types of training for participants. Coach Assisted sessions for people who have had little or no gymnastics experience and Senior and Experienced training for ex competitive gymnasts and accredited gymnastics coaches. You control and direct your own training as well as receive feedback from coaches.

Within the Coach assisted class, a full accredited coach will help you to learn basic gymnastics skills. This training will be geared to your individual level. Participants are then welcome to continue training independently through to 10:30pm under the supervision of the coaches.

When:    Tuesdays and Thursdays 8.00pm to 9.00pm for Beginners and 8.00pm to 10.30pm for Intermediate / Advanced.

NO BOOKING is required for the Adult Gymnastics program.

Acrobatics For Dancers:

Castle Hill Gymnastics runs a 5-week Acrobatics workshop each term tailored to any skill level. This program gives children the opportunity to learn acrobatic elements that are required for dance genres as well as teaching basic and more advanced tumbling skills to those just wanting to learn. These programs are run by qualified gymnastics coaches in a safe environment, using purpose made equipment such as matting, spring boards, trampolines, the foam pit and more.
