Woolworths Will Save You Some Dough With Their New Offer For Coeliacs

  • Parents Only

With the supermarket giants at war and panic buying reaching mass hysteria, supermarkets have never been more cut-throat (literally in some centres). But now, some good news has hit the shelves! Woolworths is making the weekly shop more affordable and accessible for those with coeliac disease.

The supermarket has partnered with Coeliac Australia to offer its members a 5 per cent discount on “hundreds of gluten-free products”.

Best Thing Since Sliced (Gluten-Free) Bread

Woolworths said it has seen double-digit growth in demand for gluten-free products in the past three years, with the autoimmune condition affecting as many as one in 70 Australians.

The supermarket now offers more than 40 products in its Woolworths ‘Free From Gluten’ range and there are hundreds more products on the shelves that are certified gluten free including Vegemite, cereals, breads, chocolate and more.

How Do I sign Up?

To qualify, shoppers who are also members of Coeliac Australia will be issued a card that applies the discount to their gluten-free groceries in-store or online.

Turns out Coles have been doing this exact offer for years, so if you shop over there you're in luck too.
