There❜s A Pop-Up Beach Bar At Manly For The Australian Open of Surfing

  • Parents Only

For years us Aussies have had to travel to Bali and Thailand to sit on the beach and enjoy a cocktail or beer while the sand ran through our toes. But now, we only have to travel as far as Manly! That’s right, for a limited time, the good folks at the Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel will be popping up on the sandy shores of Manly Beach. The special event coincides with the Australian Open Of Surfing, meaning you can enjoy a cold one as you watch the best surfers compete in our world-famous waves.

Happiness Comes In Waves

Okay, get your babysitter booked now because it is only running from February 25 to March 5. Club entry is free and the menu is a reflection of Californian, Hawaiian and Aussie beach classics, think fish and chips, Hawaiian poke and coconut battered fish tacos, plus $1 oyster hours. Manly beer, 4 Pines, will be available or you can make it picture perfect by sipping on a cocktail served in a coconut. And don't miss the happy hour Frozé specials!

Recline on a deck chair or take shelter from the sun in the iconic blue and white umbrellas the Watson’s Bay Beach Club is known for.

If you can’t get a babysitter, don’t despair, the beach bar is kid (and sandcastle) friendly!

There’s also a huge schedule of entertainment, from DJs and acoustic sessions to morning yoga.
