1. Australian Theatre for Young People
Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) is offering a varied and dynamic range of drama workshops during the winter school holidays, all of which have been created to engage performers of all ages. The workshops will encourage and engage young people from Kindergarten to Year 12. Kids will make new friends, learn about performing, gain confidence and most importantly have a ton of fun in a safe and inspiring environment. Workshops on offer this winter include musical theatre, screen acting, audition intensives, storytelling technique, stagecraft and for the littlest participants, amazing imagination stretching.

Equip your little performer with lots of new skills with NIDA’s diverse range of programs during the winter school holidays. Courses include acting, costume design, filmmaking, musical theatre, YouTube presenting and more—meaning there’s something for every age and interest!

3. National Arts School
Budding artists will enjoy the variety on offer at the National Art School during the winter school holidays! The Future Makers workshops provide young people aged 6–16 with opportunities to engage with artists, art-making and other forms of creative production on-site at NAS.

4. Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel
School holidays are around the corner and the Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is back with an ultra-fun lineup of activities for the kids. This time we're talking LEGO workshops, slime making and cupcake decorating, as well as the much-loved offer of $5 kid meals from 11.30 – 2.30 after every event!

5. Featherdale Wildlife Park
Featherdale Wildlife Park has announced the launch of 3 tailored Zookeeper For A Day programs in time for the winter school holidays, including the launch of two brand new sessions! The new Inclusive Zookeeper for a Day program is now available with a dedicated session perfect for kids aged 8-13 with special needs and their carers, plus the new Team TEEN Zookeeper for a Day – perfect for students aged 12-16 who are keen to learn more about a day in the life of a Zookeeper at Featherdale!

6. Future Vet Kids Camp
Hosted by celebrity twin vets Dr Audrey and Dr Alison from the new ‘Bondi Vet’ series, the Future VET Kids Camp is set to be a huge hit these school holidays!
The online course includes interviews with pet behaviourists, animal scientist and well-respected Vets throughout Australia. Meet some of Australia's most knowledgeable reptile experts as well a Marine Biologist and her recent study into analysing Whale Snot! You will get to do live chats, Q&A with their Vets as well ZOOM into live presentations from their face-to-face HQ camp.

7. The Australian Museum
Whatever your child wants to do during the school holidays, the Australian Museum has everything you need to engage and excite the kids these winter holidays. Plus with free general admission, now is the perfect time to visit! The Prehistoric Playground will instantly engage young learners, and the Unsettled exhibition tours provide a great insight into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history. There's also a Monkey Baa Theatre Company drama workshop and special programs for those with autism and other sensory needs!

8. Eastcourts Tennis
With full and half-day sessions available, Eastcourts Tennis provides a fantastic camp experience for kids.
