As the weather heats up, there’s plenty to see and do in Sydney’s burgeoning cultural calendar. Catching a show at one of Sydney’s iconic locations is the best way to escape the sun and immerse your kids in vibrant adaptations of some of their favourite books, characters and movies. We’ve rounded up the best shows for kids in Sydney this summer.

Wolfgang’s Magical Musical Circus

Come and discover the brilliant + cheeky Mozart through his vibrant compositions, physical comedy and mischievous antics. This makes an ideal 'first show' for kids, designed for little ones aged 3 and upwards (kids under 2 can get a free ‘babe-in-arms’ ticket) and it's the first kids show to launch at the brand new Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ.

Yes, you really can take toddlers to the ballet! This is a brand-new production of The Nutcracker created especially for children aged three and up is the perfect introduction to ballet.

With a performance duration of just under an hour, this live interactive production features a narrator to guide the audience through the story.  Children are encouraged to come dressed in their favourite ballet-inspired outfits and to dance along with the performers.
