Hold everything - Harry Potter merchandise is now available at Myer!

Just when we thought the Harry Potter phenomenon was beginning to wain, a new collaboration between Harry Potter and Myer has bubbled to the surface. The largest Harry Potter store in Australia is set to open in Melbourne on Friday 18 October and Harry Potter fans Melbourne-wide are already counting their lucky stars.

The ginormous Harry Potter store (500 square metres to be exact) is taking up residence at Myer in the Melbourne CBD and will feature a stunning collection of Harry Potter clothing, books, linens, cushions, magic wands, gifts, board games, stationery, Bertie Botts Jelly Beans & more. While Melbournians aren't exactly strangers to the Harry Potter retail store concept (there's already a dedicated Harry Potter store in Collingwood), the new Myer Harry Potter features recreations of famous Harry Potter locations including the magical Platform 9 ¾.

According to Myer chief customer office, Geoff Ikin, "The Harry Potter concept store at Myer Melbourne will create a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else in Australia, delivering an exciting world of exploration for fans to discover."

The Myer Harry Potter grand opening will feature cast members of Harry Potter And The Cursed Child on Friday as well as product demonstrations and more.
