  • Parents Only

Take meeeeeeee on! If you regularly sing this to your toddler then you must have come of age in the 80s.

It has been announced that Norwegian synth-pop legends A-ha will tour Australia in 2020 and to maximise the nostalgia they will bring special guest Rick Astley along for the ride. That's right, he's never gonna give us up, he's never gonna let us down!

For the first time in 34 years A-ha will celebrate their debut album Hunting High and Low, which you'd all know by lead single, 'Take On Me'.

The band will play the album in full on the tour, which will take place in February and March of next year, to celebrate its 35th anniversary.

“We have so many great memories of our Australian tour of 1986 and look forward to making new ones”– guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy shared in a press release.

The band will kick off the tour in Perth on February 19th 2020 before heading to Yarra Valley on February 22nd, Melbourne on February 23rd, Sydney on February 26th, Hunter Valley on February 29th, and wrapping the tour up in Mount Cotton in regional Queensland on March 1st.
