Meet cute Koalas at Koala Rooftop. Head to Wallaby Cliffs to interact with Ringo the wombat and then hop to Kangaroo Walk-About to walk amongst the Kangaroos. The Platypus Pools are where you’ll find Jackie, their resident platypus, before entering the daring world of Kakadu Gorge where you’ll come eye to eye with a huge Saltwater Crocodile, and much more!

Koala Photo Experience:

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo offers the unique opportunity to meet and get up close to our iconic Australian koalas, with their Koala Photo Experience.

On the beautiful open-air rooftop area of WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, you'll have the opportunity to get your photo taken with the furry friends. You will also be able take your photo home to show your friends and family! It really is a memorable koala experience.

Running daily from 11.00am to 3.30pm

Ellaslist Opinion: WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is an excellent place to introduce children to Australian wildlife and fauna as it houses over 1,000 native animals, insects and reptiles, yet is set in a very contained space and is so easily accessed from the city. Some young children (and a few mums!) may be little unnerved by the giant croc and creepy cassowary but the wallabies are super cute. This is one of our favourite rainy day activities and it is very easy to spend a couple of very pleasant hours here! There’s plenty of room for active kids to race around too. Entry prices are steep but there are often internet deals for cheap tickets and Annual Passes and Combination Tickets also bring the cost down significantly.

Facilities: WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo has baby change facilities and is fully accessible with a stroller. There is also a café with snacks and beverages on their Koala Rooftop.
