Monkey Baa Theatre Company is an award-winning theatre company for young peopled based in the ARA Darling Quarter Theatre.

The theatre curates an annual season of theatre for young people in schools holidays and term time and are most famous for adapting award-winning Australian literature to the stage, including The Peasant Prince (the children’s version of Mao’s Last Dancer), Pete the Sheep (the beloved Jackie French and Bruce Whatley picture book) and in 2017, the iconic picture book, Diary of a Wombat to name a few.
