The best bounce houses in Sydney are only a hop, skip and a jump away…

Eastern Suburbs

Cool Cats Randwick: A whole world of interactive, inflatable fun under the one roof. When the kids are burnt out on the jumping castle, they can test their skills on the mechanical bull, the gladiator joust challenge, obstacle course, bouncy slides and practice slam dunking on the inflatable basketball court. Tea and coffee facilities are available for adults and party options for young cool cats.

Waverley Markets: These markets are only held four times a year, so put this one in your diary. The markets make for a great family day out where you can grab a bargain from the car boot sale while the kids enjoy the jumping castle. Of course there’s plenty more to do like face painting, games, cake and biscuit market stalls, and a mouth-watering BBQ. Plus all proceeds go to Waverley Public School. The next markets will be Saturday, November 19 from 9am to 1pm.

Flymotion, Entertainment Quarter: This is more than just a jumping castle. For adrenalin-loving kids who want to jump, bounce, bungy jump and fly, this is the action capital of the east. Youngsters can reach new heights on Flymotion’s Bungy Trampoline, walk on water with the Bubbles of Fun or step inside a ‘Winter Wonderland’ with Flymotion’s Giant Inflatable Snowglobe. Toddlers as young as 2 can strap themselves into the bungy and launch themselves into the sky, while the more faint-hearted can hang out in the new Action Zone with games, activities and bouncy fun.

As for the adults, you are more than welcome to sit: there is booth style seating just outside the ‘tot’s zone’, so you can enjoy a coffee and chat while still being close enough to watch all the fun.

Marrickville Organic Food & Farmers Markets: Held every Sunday, the Marrickville Markets have become a bit of an institution for inner-west families. While the adults sip their coffee and munch on artisanal baked bread, the kids can jump around on the huge outdoor jumping castle. There’s also pony rides, babycinos, face-painting, fresh produce and eco-friendly baby food.
