QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree

You can’t miss the grandiose but amazingly enchanting 24-metre tall QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree. Spanning three floors, it is covered in more than 100,000 Swarovski crystal ornaments and 65,000 lights, and topped with a 2.2m wide gold star! It sits under the central dome within the glorious QVB building and looks stunning! Also, check out the bespoke QVB gift wrapping from the team at “It’s a Wrap” and Christmas Workshops for all.

Sydney Town Hall Organ Recitals

Enjoy Christmas at Sydney Town Hall with a beautiful concert in the heart of the city accompanied by one of the world’s grandest organs. Frozen 2 At The Grounds

You'll be hard-pressed to find a child in Sydney who doesn't love everything about Disney's Frozen, so bring them all along to enter the magical world of Frozen 2 at The Grounds Of Alexandria! The latest installation is part of The Grounds Christmas festival line-up and is gearing up to be pretty spectacular. While The Grounds aren't letting all the details go yet, we do know that there will be an enchanting Frozen 2 Launch Party on 27 November for the whole family to attend but hurry, tickets are selling out fast!

When: 27 November for the launch party. The snow-filled Christmas laneways will continue until December 24.

Martin Place Official Tree Lighting

Don't miss the official lighting of the beautiful Martin Place Christmas Tree. This year's theme showcases our unique Australian flora, with a whopping 15,000 flowers representing nine different kinds of blooms adorning the massive tree. Look out for Choirs in the City in Martin Place from Thursday 28th November to Tuesday 24th December from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Sydney Christmas Children’s Concert

While it's not in the heart of the city, the Sydney Christmas Children’s Concert in Surry Hills is worth the (2min) walk from Central Station. Kids will love the line-up of top children’s entertainers including The Listies, Justine Clarke, Jimmy Giggle, SplashDance, Sesame Street and Carpe Idiotus! Plus craft activities and games like table tennis, giant Jenga, and a visit from Santa. Fireworks will light up the sky as the concert comes to a close.

Christmas Lights: St Mary’s Cathedral

The stunning Lights of Christmas display at St Mary’s Cathedral is a visual feast that will mesmerise the entire family! Decorative patterns, inspired by Christmas, are projected across the Cathedral facade like a multi-coloured kaleidoscope, creating an epic visual display.

Woolworths Carols in the Domain

Australia’s largest Christmas concert, Carols in the Domain is an iconic Sydney Christmas event in its 37th year. Bring your picnic blanket for one of the most beloved traditions on the Sydney Christmas calendar.
