Art Est. Art School: Sydney Art Classes And Workshops, Kids Party Venue

Art Est. Art School is Sydney’s leading independent art school, providing 8-week term courses and school holidays workshops for kids (aged 5+) and teens.

Children can learn a range of artmaking skills in professional studios, such as drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, and cartooning.

The children’s classes are age-appropriate and include a mix of theory and hands-on practice to develop your child’s confidence, skills, and independent creative thinking. 

The classes are run by practising, award-winning artists (some have been teaching with Art Est for over 13 years!), and there is a maximum of 8-10 students per class to ensure each child receives the individual tuition they need.

Art Est is a registered Covid-safe business. During periods of restrictions, Art Est runs online classes with basic art materials that can be found around the house.  

Art Est. art programs for kids aged 5-16:

• Term classes: 8-weeks courses that run weekdays after school or Saturdays, and are designed to allow children to experiment with different mediums and techniques. There are discovery-style art programs that cover a wide range of skills each week like drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, and sculpture and specialised 8-week courses in Cartooning. Similar to the school year, they run four terms per year. 

• School holiday program: Dozens of workshops on offer across 2 jam-packed weeks every school holidays. Including a wide range of art forms for kids 5+ and teens — painting, drawing, cartooning, ceramics, printmaking and more. With all art materials included in workshop fees and lunchtime supervision for kids staying the whole day at no extra charge.

• Birthday Parties: Choose your favourite art activity and get your friends together for an exclusive birthday party in one of the studios. Children will feel like budding artists from the moment they arrive and pop on their aprons, and everyone takes home their artwork as a memory from the party.
